I’m a creator - that’s what I do. I’m a designer that has created a beautiful life surrounding the things I love most: family, freedom and design. I created a child with a creative soul who has since become my most reliable second opinion. Because of my experiences raising an independent young woman, I’ve learned to be free, to let life take you under the wings and along the best ride there is. Along that ride I learned to love design, to express myself through color, motion and text.

Family, freedom, design – that’s what I do.

Before I began working as a freelance designer, I studied photography, design and computer animation at the Art Institute of Atlanta and worked as a production manager for a top Atlanta advertising agency. Realizing “what I do” could be done, while spending time with my family and enjoying my freedom, I began my career as a freelance designer & artist. For the last 20 years, I’ve spent my days creating design solutions for people like you. Creating artwork for those white walls, a life size dolphin for Georgia Tech and the Georgia Aquarium for the visually impaired to hear sounds, and facts, coming off the sensors from the dolphin, Stained Glass windows, and I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of many shows in galleries around the Atlanta area.

My design philosophy includes a blending of aesthetics and function. Neither should be sacrificed, rather respected and refined. My style is simple, professional and uncluttered, but it’s “whatever the client” wants. Right? I pride myself in my communication and timeliness.

Aside from artwork, I dabble in the love of flying (no, I’m not a superhero), water sports and continuing to create my life with the most recent addition to the family, Harper my granddaughter. After six years of having the privilege to care for a capuchin monkey as my companion, and working monkey, I’m excited to see what the future brings…
